Confidence, discipline and a way out of trouble

Kids Jiu-Jitsu

Kids jiu-jitsu teaches a child to control a bigger person without throwing a punch. That is the part parents come for. The part they notice first is different — showing up on time, shaking hands, looking an adult in the eye, and carrying on when something is hard.

Who it is for

Is this you?

  • Children who need a confidence boost
  • Children with too much energy for one evening
  • Kids who are being picked on and want options that are not punching
  • Brothers and sisters — they can train together

What to bring

  • Shorts and a t-shirt to start
  • A water bottle with their name on it
  • Long hair tied back
  • Nails cut short — we check

02

Tag, king of the mat, and grip games that are secretly teaching balance, base and movement.

04

Live rounds

Supervised, matched by size and experience, and stopped the moment anything is not right.

Questions
What age can my child start?
We have children training across a wide age range, and they are grouped by size and experience rather than birthday. Call us on (321) 693-1765 and we will tell you which class suits your child.
Is it safe?
Jiu-jitsu has no striking. Rounds are supervised, matched by size, and stopped immediately if anything looks wrong. That is why so many parents pick it over other martial arts.
My child is shy. Will they cope?
Shy children often do best here. There is no performing in front of a room — just one partner, one coach, and small wins every week.
Can they try before we commit?
Yes. The first class is free, for kids and adults alike.

Promotion day

New belts,earned on the mat

Promotions here are not handed out on a timetable. When a student has shown the technique, the attitude and the consistency, they get called up in front of the whole room — and the room makes a noise about it. This was our most recent belt promotion ceremony, and one of the biggest classes we have had on the mats.
