Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu
Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu is the reason most people walk through the door and the reason they stay. It is the art of controlling someone bigger and stronger than you using position, leverage and timing rather than strength — and it is tested live, every session, against someone who is genuinely resisting.
Is this you?
- Complete beginners who have never trained anything
- Anyone who wants to get fit without staring at a treadmill
- Parents who train alongside their kids
- Experienced grapplers looking for a serious room to roll in
What to bring
- Shorts and a t-shirt for your first month
- A water bottle
- Bare feet on the mat, flip-flops off it
- A gi once you decide to stick around — we sell them at the desk

An hour on the mat
Warm up
Movement drills that double as technique — shrimping, bridging, breakfalls. Ten minutes, no burpee punishment.
Technique
One position, broken into steps, then drilled with a partner while the coaches walk the mat correcting people by name.
Positional rounds
Start in the position you just learned and work it live, so the technique gets pressure-tested right away.
Rolling
Free rounds against a rotating partner. Beginners go light and are paired with people who will take care of them.

Call (321) 693-1765 and we will tell you exactly which session to come to for brazilian jiu-jitsu.

- I have never done any martial art. Will I be out of my depth?
- No. Most people in the beginner rounds started exactly where you are. You will be paired with someone experienced who is there to help you, not to beat you.
- Do I need a gi to start?
- No. Shorts and a t-shirt are fine for your first month. Once you know you are staying, we sell gis and gear at the front desk.
- How fit do I need to be?
- Fit enough to walk in. The training gets you fit — it does not require you to arrive fit.
- Gi or no-gi?
- We run both. The gi teaches control and patience, no-gi teaches speed and grip-free scrambles. Most people end up doing both.
